Winners will be published in a spectacular publication: ARCHITIZER: The World’s Best Architecture, a stunning, hardcover book published and distributed by Phaidon in January 2020, and can expect coverage from Architizer A+ Media Partners: Wall Street Journal, WSJ Magazine, Phaidon Books, and more. Also, we will be free to announce and promote our Good Design Award winner status in the Architectural Design - Urban Design category and circulate the below “Jury Comments” beginning July 12th (after the official announcement of the Awards in Sydney, Australia on July 11th). The Good Design Awards Jury praised Happiness here commenting: “An impressive sculpture and design that delivers a symbolic message with innovation and achieves command of the location and message. With its simple program as a place to sit, this small sculptural pavilion creates a moment of urban delight as a focal point in the park. It’s interesting origami-like form and perforated pattern will attract people, and the story of its design is a happy connection to the community.”
The annual Good Design Awards is Australia’s most prestigious international Awards for design and innovation with a proud history dating back to 1958. The Awards celebrate the best new products and services, excellence in architectural design, engineering, fashion, digital and communication design and reward emerging areas of design strategy, social impact and design entrepreneurship. Only projects that demonstrate excellence in ‘good design’, ‘design innovation’ and ‘design impact’ will be recognized and awarded.
